These nationally consistent, raster-based land cover products represent a long-standing time-series of authoritative land cover information for the coastal U.S.
Regional Land Cover data includes the mapping of up to 25 standard C-CAP categories and are updated every 5 years, providing change and trend information through time. The Wetland Potential Layer is a modeled data set that was used to improve C-CAP mapping of wetlands, and represents how likely an area is to be, or may have been, a wetland.
